About the Position

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide outpatient psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing a variety of emotional and behavioral health concerns.

Areas of treatment include:

  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Depression
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Relationship and Marriage Challenges
  • Grief and Loss
  • Emotional Regulation Difficulties
  • Attachment Concerns
  • Family Conflict
  • Self-Esteem and Negative Core Beliefs
  • Life Transitions
  • First Responder Stress and Trauma

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy
  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and community resources when appropriate
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards
  • Participate in clinical consultation and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • Michigan licensure or license eligibility as an LMSW, LPC, or LMFT
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based, client-centered care
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • A desire to practice within a Christian counseling environment

Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy is preferred but not required.

Employment Requirements

Candidates selected for employment must:

  • Successfully pass a criminal background check prior to employment.
  • Be willing and eligible to complete insurance credentialing with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Priority Health, and Aetna before their first day of employment.
  • Maintain all required professional licenses, certifications, and professional liability insurance.

Compensation & Benefits

We recognize that clinicians have different professional goals and career preferences. To support those goals, we offer two compensation options.

W-2 Employee

Competitive salary based on licensure, experience, and expected caseload.

Salary Range

  • Fully Licensed Clinicians (LMSW, LPC, LLP, LMFT):
    $70,000–$90,000 annually

Salary growth opportunities are available based on experience, productivity, and caseload.

Independent Contractor (1099)

Choose our 60% Clinician / 40% Practice revenue split and enjoy uncapped earning potential while benefiting from the support of an established private practice.

The practice provides:

  • Insurance credentialing
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Scheduling support
  • Marketing provided by the practice
  • Clinical consultation and mentorship

This model offers unlimited earning potential for clinicians who want the flexibility of independent contractor status while practicing in a supportive, faith-based environment.
