Welcome to the website of Eternal Hope Christian Counseling (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using this website, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this site.

1. Informational and Educational Purposes Only

All information provided on this website—including blog posts, videos, devotionals, and downloadable resources—is for general educational and faith-based informational purposes only.
It is not a substitute for professional mental-health treatment or medical advice.
Engaging with this content does not create a therapist–client relationship with any counselor, intern, or staff member at Eternal Hope Christian Counseling.

If you are in crisis, please call 911 or the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

2. No Therapist–Client Relationship

Visiting this website, sending an email, or submitting a contact or sign-up form does not establish a therapeutic relationship.
A counseling relationship is formed only after:

  1. Completion of intake documents through our secure client portal,
  2. Review and signature of informed-consent materials, and
  3. Attendance at an initial clinical session with a licensed therapist or supervised intern.

3. Professional Scope and Licensure

Our therapists and supervised interns practice within the limits of their licensure and training under the laws of the State of Michigan.
Clinical services are available only to clients physically located in Michigan at the time of service and are conducted under HIPAA-compliant standards.

4. Supervision of Interns

Therapists-in-training are under the direct supervision of a fully licensed clinician.
All sessions, notes, and treatment plans are reviewed to maintain ethical and clinical excellence.

5. Faith Integration

Eternal Hope Christian Counseling offers therapy that is evidence-based and faith-integrated for those who wish to include their Christian beliefs in the healing process. Faith integration is always voluntary and client-directed.

6. Email Sign-Up and Newsletter Communications

Visitors may choose to sign up for email updates, newsletters, devotionals, or educational resources from Eternal Hope Christian Counseling.
By subscribing, you consent to receive occasional non-clinical communications such as encouragements, blog updates, or event notices.

  • You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every message.
  • We will never sell, rent, or share your email address.
  • Emails are not a secure form of communication for protected health information (PHI).
  • Subscribing does not create a therapist–client relationship or replace professional services.

We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and applicable privacy regulations.

7. Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance

Do not submit confidential or clinical details through website forms or standard email.
For secure communication, please use our encrypted Client Portal or call (989) 423-1011.
